Suit All RX-7 SA22C, FC3S, 12A, 13B Rotary powered vehicles
Unbeatable value, now standard with builtin MAP Sensor for upto 22psi (1.5Bar). External MAP Sensors can still be used for big boost applications.

The Haltech E6X has just been released to the public. The E6X is based on the popular E6K model and offers all of the refinements and additional features that Haltech have developed for the E6K over the past few years as well as some additional new features. The new Haltech E6X supersedes the Haltech E6K in the Haltech product range.
What is the difference between the superceded E6K and the new E6X?
Ok, want more reasons?
The E6X is much more than a programmable fuel injection computer - it provides logging of engine data and allows access in real time to maximize performance and trouble-shoot problems in a vehicle while running.
The patented HALTECH system of programming virtually eliminates the input of numbers. You simply manipulate bar graphs by pressing arrows keys on the attached PC running Haltech Programming software. Manipulating the bars allows you to increase or decrease the amount of fuel delivered or ignition advance at that particular RPM and load point. The process is repeated for all load points in each rpm range.
This means both fuel delivery and ignition timing can be precisely mapped through the RPM ranges so that the exact fuel delivery and ignition timing required to obtain optimum performance is applied in every RPM and load range.
What is the difference between the E6X, E8, E11v2, PS1000 and PS2000?

Recommendations and options in detail:
The Basic connector kit will be required to connect Air Temp Sensor, Coolant Temp Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor and MAP Sensor to the loom. Some people prefer to get just the Basic kit and farm the existing connectors off the factory loom for injectors, road speed, o2 sensor etc....
The full E6X connector kit includes the Basic connector kit, plus it gives you new Bosch injector plugs and extras connectors for other inputs/outputs which do prove useful. The Bosch injector plugs will fit early Gen 2 injectors. For late Gen 2 and Gen 3 you will need to use your existing injector plugs if you are using you factory Mazda fuel injectors.
For Naturally Aspirated engines, if you can get a good vacuum signal at idle then we recommend running a map sensor. On heavily Ported Rotaries, (eg. Peripheral Port) vacuum can be erratic or non-existent, no problem, switch to TPS based load sensing, and run without the Map sensor.
The new internal MAP sensor means that for non-turbo and turbo engines with upto 22psi (1.5 bar) of boost no additional MAP sensor is required. For Turbo or Supercharged engines above 22psi then you will require a 3, 4 or 5 bar map sensor.
Also highly recommend is the Haltech Electronic Boost Controller which allows accurate and safe boost adjustment from your laptop. When combined with the Electronic Boost Control Trim, boost can be adjusted in-cabin with the flick of the wrist. The trim can also be used to adjust fuel and ignition during tuning.
You may also want to consider a 4 Wire oxygen sensor if you intend to run a closed loop setup. The factory Mazda 1-wire or 3-wire O2 sensor is compatible with the Haltech, but not as accurate as the Haltech 4-wire sensor. A fresh O2 sensor can make tuning more predictable, especially when coupled with the Haltuner.
